Naughty. Been shopping. I bought the following pulp magazines as I thought they’d look great framed. And the theme (there has to be a theme) - octopus. Inspired by Pouple Pulps I sort sought these out on ebay. I give the octopus obsession another three or four months before I have lost interest. It will dissipate even faster if I get the “Vulgar Army” project up and running. Oh, and 1994 is a seriously dodgy magazine. Sheesh. It is still going on the wall though. That “Provocative illustrated adult fantasy” tag line is simply precious.

This is a is a pen & ink and acrylic on ~5?×7? stretched calico canvas. I wanted it to look like a battered post card so I scuffed it with a piece of sandpaper. This is one of those images that I went, “drat, I ruined it” after I added the text. Oh well, I still like it.
